Panel Discussion – Subject Editor

WISH online event 18 July 2024 18:00 GMT Save the date!

The Women of the International Society of Hymenopterists (WISH) Committee would like to invite all ISH members to an online panel discussion on what it entails to be an editor for a scientific journal, including the process of becoming/asking to serve as an editor/subject editor. The primary purpose of this event is to give information on the duties and expectations of a journal editor, especially a subject editor. We will have four panellists who are current or past editors from various journals, and Michael Ohl, editor-in-chief of the Journal of Hymenoptera Research, will give an introduction to our Society’s journal. This event is planned to be live only, so don’t miss it!

Date: Thursday, July 18, 6:00 pm GMT.

Registration: Panel discussion will be via Zoom. Register and submit your questions to the panel here: https://forms.gle/EaGH6KLnaQDmHbwJ7
