ISH exec vote July 2025 ISH is considering offering research awards/grants, with the aim of assisting student hymenopterists in lower-income regions of the world. What do you think is more beneficial for ISH to offer:Two awards, one each for two specific geographic areas in which ISH has very low representation (e.g. Africa and South America). These specific regions could change/rotate if the awards become annual. Two awards that are not restricted by geographic area, but instead restricted by the income/UN HDI index of the country. The ranking/restrictions used could be determined if this is the majority vote. As ONLY an example, it could be restricted to the 100 lowest ranked countries on the UN HDI index. Two awards that are not restricted through any means of defining countries or regions, but instead are open to anyone who can demonstrate financial need.Add any comments hereVote
