INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF HYMENOPTERISTS


Meetings
Our business meetings are annually and in conjunction with the meetings of the Entomological Society of America and also at our quadrennial conferences. Our next one will be at the ESA meeting in Reno (Nevada, USA) in November 2008. Papers can be submitted from June 1 to July 9.

International meetings of the ISH take place every four years. The next one is going to be in Köszeg in Hungary in 2010, hosted by George Melika.

The last international meeting was in South Africa in January 2006. Thanks to Denis Brothers and Gerhard Prinsloo for a successful and fun meeting. It was attended by about 70 Hymenopterists, we had a lot of interesting talks, very nice breaks and dinners and a fun safari, ... ahem ... collecting trip.

Also consider attending the International Congress of Entomology (ICE) in South Africa in July 6-12 2008.
